20 trucks carrying aid crossed into southern Gaza on Saturday, Oct 21, the first convoy of humanitarian supplies.
U.S. President Joe Biden said this week that an agreement had been reached for 20 aid trucks to cross through Gaza’s Rafah border point with Egypt, and he added on Friday that he believed those first trucks would pass through within 48 hours.

Witnesses said aid trucks exited the crossing after checks and proceeded into Gaza’s southern area, including the major towns of Rafah and Khan Younis.

Palestinian officials reported that fuel supplies were not included and added that the aid was only three percent of what was used to get into Gaza before the crisis.

Israel has warned that no aid should end up in the Hamas terror organization’s hands.

Israel kept up heavy bombardment of terror targets throughout Gaza in Saturday’s early hours after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to “fight until victory”.

On 20 Oct 2023, Friday night, Hamas released American hostages Judith Tai Raanan, 59, and her daughter Natalie, 17. During Hamas’ attack on southern Israel, the Islamic terror group kidnapped approximately 210 people, most of them civilians, including infants, toddlers, women, and elderly people from Israel.
