On November 1, following a negotiated deal, several foreign passport holders and many critically wounded civilians departed from Gaza, Palestine, via the Rafah border crossing into Egypt. An Egyptian security official confirmed that up to 500 foreign passport bearers would be crossing from Gaza to Egypt on Wednesday due to the agreement to open the border. Foreign nationals are entering Egypt through the Rafah checkpoint from Gaza.
