Aliyan expressed dismay at the celebratory response of Gaza’s residents to such acts and declared a stringent Israeli siege on Gaza in retaliation. The siege entails a comprehensive cut-off of essential utilities, including electricity and water, promising widespread destruction as a punitive measure against the perceived inhumanity and provocations.
