An Egyptian policeman reportedly opened fire, killing two Israeli tourists on a bus during an organized trip in Alexandria. Another Egyptian was also killed, and one more was injured in the subsequent gunfire. The attack occurred near Pompey’s pillar (Column) while the group was touring. An Israeli on the bus informed a relative, exclaiming, “They are shooting at our bus. There are dead and wounded.” In addition to the two Israelis, reports from Egypt indicate that two Egyptian citizens were killed. The Foreign Ministry acknowledged the reports, stating that the matter is being investigated.
